A charming pair of vintage primitive-style folk art “cottagecore” prints by American artist Diane Ulmer Pedersen, featuring rich fruit motifs, blue-and-white pottery, and bold black-and-white checkered backgrounds.
The coordinating pair includes:
“Apples in a Blue and White Bowl” (also known as “A is for Apple”) – A blue-and-white patterned bowl overflowing with deep red apples against a classic black-and-white checked surface.
“Fruit of the Spirit” – A colorful assortment of fruit, including pears, peaches, and grapes, gathered in a dotted ceramic bowl with the same coordinating checkered background.
Both prints are framed in warm wood frames that complement the art style beautifully. Popular during the late 1990s, artwork like this was a favorite in country, farmhouse, and Americana-inspired kitchens and dining spaces—and it fits right back into today’s collected vintage interiors.
These would look especially charming hung together over a breakfast nook, kitchen counter, pantry wall, or mixed into a vintage gallery wall.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of age or wear.
Measurements:
Each measures approximately 8 1/4” wide x 10 1/4” tall
