Bring timeless French elegance to your home with this beautiful antique Haviland & Co. Limoges two-handled cake plate. Crafted in Limoges, France between approximately 1894 and 1931, this exquisite porcelain piece showcases the exceptional craftsmanship that made Haviland one of the world’s most celebrated porcelain manufacturers.

The delicate white porcelain is adorned with a graceful garland of soft blush and pink roses intertwined with green foliage, creating a romantic floral border. Two recessed handles are richly accented with brilliant gold gilt, adding a luxurious finishing touch. The semi-translucent Limoges porcelain glows beautifully in natural light, making this piece just as stunning on display as it is for entertaining.

Traditionally used as a cake plate or handled relish dish (also called a nappy), it is wonderfully versatile today. Style it on a dining table, display it in a china cabinet, use it as an elegant serving piece for pastries or tea sandwiches, or incorporate it into a French country, cottagecore, shabby chic, or Victorian-inspired collection.

The Red Overglaze Stamp ("Haviland & Co. Limoges"): This is the decorator's mark, confirming that the colorful design and gilding were also completed by Haviland's in-house artists before a final firing. This style of red stamp was used between 1889 and 1931.
