UV Reactive: This aqua blue glass displays a beautiful yellow-green fluorescence under UV/black light. It is not being represented as uranium glass; the UV reaction is likely due to minerals or metal oxides used in the glass formula.
Styling Idea:
Let that gorgeous blue glass be the star. Style it on a vanity with vintage perfume bottles and a small jewelry dish, place it on a stack of old books, or add it to a shelf of clear and colored glass where natural light can catch all of the raised details. It could also make a charming little holder for rings or other tiny treasures.
Flea & Frame Note:
There’s something especially charming about these miniature glass shoes. Between the brilliant aqua color, ornate Victorian styling, and recognizable Scroll & Bow design, this little Mosser slipper is just as pretty displayed on its own as it is added to a collection.
