Bring a true piece of American railroad history into your home with this authentic vintage Pullman creamer featuring the beloved Indian Tree pattern. These charming individual-sized pitchers were originally used aboard Pullman sleeping and dining cars, where elegant table settings were part of the travel experience.
The Indian Tree pattern is instantly recognizable for its vibrant orange blossoms, rich green leaves, and the distinctive brown geometric band circling the rim. The scale makes this piece perfect for serving cream or milk — or styling on open shelving, in a china cabinet, or layered into a collected vintage tablescape.
This creamer is marked “PULLMAN” in green lettering on the front and includes the manufacturer’s mark on the bottom, confirming its authenticity. Pieces like this are increasingly sought after by railroad collectors and lovers of historic restaurant ware.
A beautiful blend of function and history — perfect for collectors of railroad memorabilia, transferware enthusiasts, or anyone curating a layered vintage aesthetic.
Details:
• Individual-sized creamer / small pitcher
• Indian Tree pattern (orange florals, green leaves, brown geometric rim band)
• Marked “PULLMAN” on front
• Manufacturer’s mark on bottom
• Circa 1930s–1950s
• Authentic railroad dining car china
Style it in a vignette, use it at your coffee bar, or add it to a growing collection of historic railroad pieces.
Condition:
There is a small chip along the bottom rim (see photos for detail). It is minor and stable. Given the age of this piece and its use aboard Pullman dining cars, light wear is to be expected. Authentic, clearly marked Pullman Indian Tree creamers are not easy to come by — especially with both the front “PULLMAN” stamp and manufacturer’s mark intact. Pieces like this are increasingly scarce, and a small, unobtrusive flaw is rarely reason to pass on such a desirable example of railroad china history.
