A beautiful example of 1930s American art pottery, this authentic Weller Pottery vase comes from the highly collectible “Cornish” pattern line, produced in the early 1930s and widely attributed to approximately 1933.
The Cornish line reflects a stunning blend of Art Deco and Arts & Crafts influence, featuring raised embossed leaves and berries against a richly textured, mottled background. This piece showcases Weller’s signature brown/rust-toned glaze, with olive green leaves and deep blue-to-black berries that create depth and contrast. The dimensional detailing gives the vase beautiful visual interest from every angle.
Turn it slightly and you’ll see how the glaze catches the light — a warm, earthy palette that layers beautifully into cottage, traditional, and grandmillennial-inspired interiors.
